Liveligoods started on a Saturday morning. Not in a boardroom — at a farm stand at the end of someone's driveway.

Every weekend, there are people selling fresh bread, handmade candles, homegrown vegetables, and things they've poured their heart into — right in their own communities. There are seamstresses, guitar teachers, furniture restorers, and dog trainers living two streets over. And almost nobody knows about them.

The vendor fairs and farmers markets are wonderful, but they only happen so often. In between, these makers and doers have no consistent, simple way for new neighbors to find them. Social media helps — if someone happens to share a link, or if you already know to look. But most of the time, the talent in your own backyard stays invisible.
